Change your Facebook Status Update Icon

You can now choose what application to associate your status update at facebook… you can use iPhone, Blackberry, iPad or even wierd names like McDonalds, Jollibee, RedHorse and Stuff…

Here is how you do it.

1) Find the API Key of the Application you want to have your Status Update associate with.

1.1) If you can’t find it then just create it by setting a new application here

1.2) Once you uploaded the proper Icons, Take note of the API Key

2) Once you have the API Key, you can copy paste this link [https://www.facebook.com/connect/prompt_feed.php?api_key=API_KEY_HERE] on your browser, don’t forget to change the API KEY

3) On the page, you will see a Status Update Form… now you can post anything you want and on your wall/profile you will see you status update together with the application that posted it.

note: make sure you are logged in to facebook so you can post status updates
