Since I got myself an alternative to Go Pro called SJCam 4000, I’m gonna be using it for senseless things, LOL. I did a test shot for it and recorded this footage during our way back home.
I used the Go Pro Editor to edit this, added the soundtrack and the filter. It looks nice with the filters and the slow motion, I’m still getting the hang of it though but it is quite user friendly to use so I might be using this editor often, one downside though is it does require a lot of conversions since SJCam files are MOV files and Go Pro Editor only reads and plays MP4 files.
This is the second installment of our Paintball session. Held at WeBoss Paintball grounds at Talamban, once again the gang and I are immersed in a jungle terrain battle. This time with more bullets and more participants. Luckily I got an SJCam this time to capture the moment.
It was 1999 when the first manga of Naruto was published and 15 years later it finally released its last chapter. Naruto is a story about a boy’s journey and struggle to be acknowledge by the people around him. The main plot of the story is about friendship and determination, well for my point of view though. I was still in College when I first took a glimpse at Naruto, it was my sister’s boyfriend that introduced it by bringing a copy of the episodes via a flash drive. It was hilarious and I easily got into it.
Team 7 : Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke
A few episodes later I stopped, since I don’t have internet back then and had to watch it randomly on a local network. I was already working when the Shippuden came out and that time I was able to download the episodes for it. Also I was already into reading the manga which happened because I had to wait weeks before the new episodes releases (One Piece, Bleach and other Anime).
Naruto finally achieved being a hokage
It was a very good show, although I didn’t like how they drag the “bromance” between Sasuke and Naruto for 15 years, it had a decent yet open ending. I loved how Hinata and Naruto hooked up in the end, Sakura and Sasuke then all the other guys. They also have kids (which brings Harry Potter’s ending come into my mind). One thing that still bothers me is that Kakashi never ever once showed his face though.
Thanks to the author Masashi Kishimoto for creating this Manga, it was a good story and for me it was a satisfying ending.
Ok, I’ve just got back from SM today and just got a chance to try the service from GrabaTaxi app. My first impression is that it’s good especially when there are long lines in the taxi lanes. For now they are offering Php 0.00 booking fee but I’ve heard they’ll be adding a Php 25.00 booking fee soon. Well if it saves as the wait and gives us convenience that 25 peso addon will be woth it.
Cebu is getting more in tuned now with the digital market, I hope to see more technologies that may come up and be applied. I think a lot of people now are embracing it as long as we are going forward for the better.
I have been so busy that I couldn’t even find time to rant in here anymore. My last post was on June of 2013 and that was already a year and 4 months ago. Sometimes I feel that time was on steroids, or I think I am just drowning myself to move forward. A lot of things happened this year that I couldn’t forget, one of those is losing a family. Our dog Momo left us on the 19th of April, she was suffering from a disease called Canine Distemper and I couldn’t bear to see her suffer from it, so I had her euthanized. That was the first time I had to really cry for a dog, for me she was family, she was there when Jade and I first settled down. Playful and loving, always eager to see and chase stuff. I really loved that dog, and I am gonna miss her, as for me, it might be a while before I’ll be attached to one.
Our Momo, may she be happy where she is now
Also on July, Jade and I decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary by traveling to a certain place, with that we decided that our first destination is Hongkong. Hongkong was a nice place. It was a very good experience for us. Walking the streets, jumping from train to train and indulge in Chinese cuisines. Hongkong has a nice culture to it but it can’t beat the relax phase back here in the Philippines. Like Singapore, all of the people there are constantly moving. We spent almost a week there as tourist. Went to Ocean Park, Disneyland and other famous tourist attractions. Hoping that we could travel back there again in the coming years.
At Ocean Park Hongkong
I guess that’s the most interesting things that happened during this year, well most of the day spent sitting, working and playing. I need to write more and use this blog, lol
